Therapeutic Orientation and Methodology

As a hypnotherapist working in the Denver area my therapeutic orientation is Eclectic Psychotherapy selecting what is valid or useful from all available theories, methods and practices. Orientation is based on contributions from many different sources used according to whether they are valid, applicable and indicated. In addition elements of Body Centered Psychotherapy are utilized as well as Therapeutic Breath work, facilitating Body/Mind/Spirit and Emotional integration of the client with a focus on creating states of wellness. Hypnotherapy is used as a mechanism that effectively lifts repression, uncovers memories and enhances motivation and development of the client. Hypnosis is used as a tool for positive change.

Methodologies include Neuro- Linguistic Programming, Regression Therapy, Visualization, Imagery and Suggestion Therapy. These methods have been used since 2003, when I began practicing hypnotherapy. A basic client- centered counseling approach is utilized to create empowerment of the client. Elements of Choice Theory are integrated into the therapeutic orientation.
